Brandon  - Male, Age 8 years
 
  Jack is 18 months old and has spina bifida. He may need to use a wheelchair and lives at home with his Mum, Dad and older brother. Jack has just learned to walk quite well but gets tired really easily. Jack is a really happy and bright little boy and lets nothing stand in his way. Jack might need another operation on his legs.   Brandon is 8 years old and has spina bifida which was diagnosed in pregnancy by ultrasound scanning. He uses a wheelchair and has a shunt to treat hydrocephalus. He attends mainstream school, lives at home wiht his Mum, Dad older sister and cousin and enjoys quad-biking, cricket and football.

  Koysor is 31 and has spina bifida. He uses a wheelchair and at present attends a residential college away from home.   Alison is in her late 30s and has spina bifida. She has been married for 15 years and has a 10 year old son. She uses a wheelchair to aid mobility and works as a middle manager for the civil service.
